Tape Option Substitution¶

EDI Import > Tape Option Sub
The table contains fields for Blind Type, Fabric Code, Option Choice, Width, Drop, Blind Type Replacement, Fabric Code Replacement, Option Choice Replacement.

There is also an import routine for this table in Administration > Import From Excel called ‘Tape Option Sub’.

If an online customer enters a 50mm Wood String with a tape choice.
when the EDI import is done, it now checks the blind type, wood colour and tape choice and size, and if there is a match, replaces the blind type with a 50mm wood Pre-taped blind, the fabric with the pre tape fabric and the tape option with ‘Pre tape’.
This is only applicable to EDI imports, and the substitution takes place before the records are actually imported.

Some changes have been made to the 'Tape Option Substitution' system table. The 'Tape/Box Blind Option' column has been split into 2 columns, 'Tape option' and 'Box Blind Option'.
The same has been done with the 'Tape/Box Blind Option Replacement' column.
These two new columns are called 'Tape option Replacement' and the 'Box Blind Option Replacement'.

This means it is now possible to customize the replacement of two combinations of options (Tape + Box Blind) with a combination of two other options (Tape Replacement + Box Blind Replacement).
The import routine for the 'Tape Option Substitution' has also been amended to include these new columns.
