Quotations¶

A quotation is a document that a seller provides to a buyer to offer goods or services at a stated price, under specified conditions.
Currently, quotations can be created based on the 'Sales Lead' record, XML file import, or manually.

The form is similar to the creating order but with fewer functionalities since this is only a preliminary discussion with the customer.

You also can add blind details and/or components to the quote, carriage line, appointments, receipts, etc.

When everything is entered, save the quote and print/send it to the customer.
In this case, the quotation status will be changed to 'Quotation Printed'.

After the positive answer, you can convert Quotations into a Sales Order by pressing the 'Create Order' button:

For quotations that are part ordered, it is currently possible to see the ordered detail lines in the quotation, although they are greyed out when you try to amend the detail line.
It has been made clearer that these lines have been converted to an order - the detail line in the 'Window Blind Amend' form of the quotation has been greyed out.
