Quality Check Scan¶
Quality Check By Blind
Previously the quality check functionality only worked at the order level and had to be done before an order was despatched.
There is now a new parameter called ‘Quality Check By Blind’.
There is also a new field called ‘Quality Check Large Quantity’ which is an integer and defaults to 0.
There is also new advanced permission called ‘Quality Check Scan’ in the Order Enquiry section of Advanced Permissions.
It is now possible to quality scan blinds if the number of blinds on the order <= ‘Quality Check Large Quantity’.
If the quantity >= this number, then the existing quality control works.
If ‘Quality Check By Blind’ is switched on and the advanced permission ‘Quality Check Scan’ = true, then a button appears in Order Enquiry called ‘Quality Scan’.
It is only possible to quality scan a blind if it has a status of ‘Work In Progress’ (if ‘Enable WIP Status’ = true).
If false, then it will only be possible to quality scan the blind if it has the status ‘Awaiting Manufacture’.
If ‘Quality Check By Blind’ = true and the quality scan has not been done, it is not possible to scan a blind as ‘Blind Made’.
Previously the following logic was implemented: when we doing Quality Check Scan we marked the whole Order Detail line as ‘Quality Checked’.
If all details in Order were marked as Quality Checked then the Order is marked as Quality Checked as well.
The following logic has been implemented: when doing a Quality Check Scan we mark the Serial Order Detail line as ‘Quality Checked’.
If all serial details for Order Detail are marked as Quality Checked then the Order Detail will be marked as Quality Checked.
If all details in Order are marked as Quality Checked then the Order is marked as Quality Checked as well.
Quality Scan Employee Select. When doing a ‘Quality Check Scan’ from the Order Enquiry form, there is a drop down at the top of this form to select an employee when doing a scan, similar to WIP Blind Scan and Blind Made Scan.
The dropdown only lists ‘Quality’ type employees.
To handle this, there is a new checkbox to the ‘Employee Edit’ form.
If a user attempts to scan a blind on the Quality Check Scan window without selecting an employee a message appears in the text area stating ‘Please select employee.’
In the order history, the selected employee name is displayed in the text.
Order Enquiry > Process Scan
The following scenario was a problem: enter an order that requires quality control – just one blind will do.
Do all process scans – when the last one is done, a message appears saying that quality control has not been checked, and the detail status changes to ‘Blind Manufactured’.
If you then try to do the quality check scan, it says ‘incorrect status’.
What now happens is that the blind is manufactured, the order status changes to order manufactured and the quality scan can be done.
