Order Source¶

Order source is used to find out where the orders are being generated from, and is used mostly by companies selling to the
general public. This way it is possible to analyse revenue against advertising spend.

These order source records are displayed in a tabular format so they can all be viewed at once.

Order sources are entered against quotations and orders (Order Processing > Orders/Quotations > Add/Amend > Source). In the sales
analysis report criteria screen, there is an option for choosing sales by source (Reports > Sales Analysis > Sales Analysis by Order Source by Customer).
If ‘Is Null’ field is checked, this order source becomes null, and a user may not select this variant at the order/quotation entry stage.
