Manufacturing¶
Parameters > Manufacturing
There is a new button on this formula form for ‘Blind Weight’ (this is the weight of blind calculated as the sum of the BOM weights).
This means that the tube deflection calculation formula can be based on the blind weight (excluding records where ‘Exclude From Deflection Calc’ = true).
There is a new parameter in Parameters > Manufacturing called ‘ Pick List Validation to WIP ’ which defaults to false.
If true, then once a box blind is validated, the order detail line is set to WIP (if all serial detail lines are WIP) and the order status set to WIP (if all order detail lines are WIP).
If ‘Print Works Order’ is selected in the ‘Pick List Validation’ form, the reprint warning will only appear if the status of the order detail line is ‘Work In Progress’.
There is now an option to enter a batch number when the Pick List Validation scan is done. The batch number is another label on the box blind so it could either be scanned or entered manually.
There are two new parameters that relate to this. The first is called ‘ Mandatory Pick List Batch No Scan ’ which defaults to false.
If it is true, then it will not be possible to complete the validation without doing the scan. Once the scan is done, the batch number is held against the serial detail line.
There is another parameter called ‘ Box Blind Batch No Validation ’ which defaults to false.
If it is set to true, then when the batch no is scanned, it checks the batch numbers held against the box blind stock record to check that it is correct.
If not, a message will say ‘Invalid Batch Number’ and the validation will not be possible.
