How to set up 'Fabric CLC' automatically as a component in the Sales Order

Component Detail Line Entry > Cut Length Charge

When an order detail line is added for a fabric in component detail line entry, it is possible to check if a cut length charge should be applied.
If it is should be applied, then another order detail line will be added which is the cut length charge.
Please note that only one stock item can be ‘Fabric CLC'.
There is an option code in the Option Name system table called ‘Fabric CLC’:

An option name must be set up with this code and then a stock record set up with this option name as the link option:

There is a new parameter called ‘Apply Fabric Cut Length Charge’ which defaults to false:

There is also a new customer flag called 'No Cut Length Charge' which will be relevant to desktop and online orders:

There are two new fields in the blind type record for blind identifiers Vertical and Roller called ‘Min Fabric Cut’ and ‘Max Fabric Cut’, which default to zero:

If the fabric quantity entered is between these sizes then the fabric cut length charge applies (taken from the selling price field in the stock record) and a component detail line entered.

Example:

Add the roller fabric component:

Check the order:

The fabric cut length charge applies if the fabric quantity entered is between these 'Min.Fabric Cut' and 'Max.Fabric Cut' sizes.
It means if there are 'Min.Fabric Cut' = 1 and 'Max.Fabric Cut' = 9 in the blind type and in the order detail is 13m fabric the cut length charge wouldn't apply.
In this case, need to order 10m and 3m of the fabric where the 'Fabric CLC' would be added only for 3m.

The same functionality works for the vertical blind type:

There was an improvement in this functionality so now it is possible to indicate the 'Min Fabric Cut' and 'Max Fabric Cut' values in the Stock Item, please see below:

But if these fields are empty then these values will be taken from the blind type as it was before.
