Fitter SheetSales Lead Parameters

We have one client that converts sales leads to quotations but then does not enter detail lines for quotations.
They then want to change the sales lead with status ‘Changed To Quotation’ to ‘Changed To Order’.
There is now a new parameter called ‘ Allow Quote/Order From Sales Lead ’.
This defaults to false, but if set to true, the above message does not appear and the sales lead is converted to an order.

When we convert a sales lead to order, the program now asks for a fitter as well as a fitting date.
If ‘ Fitting Time Auto Calculation ’ is switched on in Administration > Parameters, the fitting appointment is also updated.
Previously the fitter was found by looking at the postcode record and using the fitter that is held there.
If there is a fitter held against the postcode, then this fitter appears in the field as the default and the user can change it if necessary.

There is a new parameter to control the employees that can be seen in the diary called ‘ Use Diary Department Filter ’.
This defaults to false.
If this is set to true, the employees in the Diary form are filtered by department.
This means that only employees should be shown in the diary if the department that is set up for that user and the department is set up against the employee.
Also, if this parameter is set to true, the same filter is now applied in Order Processing > Orders > appointments tab, so that only employees relating to the department set up for the user can be selected.

The sales lead enquiry form can now replace the diary form when going into this menu option.
This is a new parameter in Administration > Parameters called ‘Disable Diary Form ’ and this defaults to false.
If set to true, the diary form will be replaced by the ‘Sales Lead Enquiry’ form.
If Administration > Parameters > ‘Disable Diary Form’ is set to true, then the sales lead enquiry form displays as soon as you enter Fitters Sheet / Sales Leads.
If this condition is true, then there is now an ‘Add Sales Lead’ button on the form.

It is now possible to make diary entries for non domestic (trade type = trade) customers.
Previously you could not convert a sales lead into an order for a trade customer, because the ‘Change’ option in Fitters Sheet / Sales Lead only shows customers with trade type = retail.
There is now a new parameter to allow trade customers to be displayed here.
The parameter (in Administration > Parameters) is called ‘ Allow Trade Sales Leads ’.

There is a new parameter in Administration > Parameters called ‘ Contract Diary Setting ’.
Instead of contact name surname, this means the diary will display job reference, customer reference, postcode.

It is now possible to stop appointments being created for sales leads/fittings before the current date.
There is a new flag in Parameters > Fitters Sheet / Sales Lead Parameters called ‘ Block Appointments Before Current Date ’.
If this is true and a user tries to create any appointments before the current date, a message appears saying ‘You cannot create an appointment before today’.

There is a new parameter in Parameters > Fitters Sheet / Sales Leads called ‘ Show All Orders for Fitting Appointments ’ which defaults to false.
If true, when double click on the diary, it now displays the order number, the customer company name and the contact name.
If you start typing in the order number, it narrows down the lookup to the relevant order numbers.
The lookup is in order number order and does not show cancelled orders.

It is now possible to fix the width of the diary columns on the diary screen.
In Administration > parameters, there is a new field that allows you to define the width.
We also added a “ Fixed Column Width ” tick box to the Fitter Sheet. It controls the width of columns.
Please note that this mode will not be working in Multiple Days mode.

There is a new parameter in Administration > Parameters > Fitters Sheet / Sales Lead called ‘ Include components in Appt Total ’ which defaults to false.
If this is set to true, the component quantities are included in the ‘No Of Blinds’ total.

There is a new ' Allow Delete Any Appointment ' flag in the Parameters form with default value of false.
There is a new advanced permission in the 'Administration > Users > Add/Amend' form with the same name.
If the new flag and permission for the relevant operator are switched on then the operator can delete any appointment on the Diary form after a confirmation message.
It is not possible to delete an appointment for an order that has been fully archived.
A history record is created in an order if a related appointment has been deleted.

The postcode can now be the first field under the name instead of order number.
This is done by switching on a new parameter in Parameters > Fitters Sheet / Sales Lead.
The parameter is called ‘ Display Postcode First in Fitter Appt ’, which defaults to false.

Installer Export Sheet

There is a new Parameter called ' Include Balance to Appointments ' which defaults to True.
If set to false, this will exclude Balance from Additional Instructions on this report.
