Dimension Calculations¶

Sometimes the relationship between dimensions of blinds and stock used is not straightforward.
This form allows you to set up letters that, when applied to stock calculators, alter the stock usage by factors of width and drop.

Set up ratios for usage calculations by using the Dimension Calculations form in the 'Stock Control'.

This is used to apply ratios to the dimension calculators.
For example, a braid on a roller might be used on both sides and so the stock used would be calculated as twice the width of the blind.
A new record can be created that will calculate this by having a width ratio of 2. Amounts can also be added to widths and drops by this method.

Type: this is the calculator type

Code Letter: this is a letter relating to a particular set of conditions

Width Multiplier: this is used to multiply the width of the blind by a factor

Drop Multiplier: this is used to multiply the width of the blind by a factor

Width Amount Add On: this adds an amount onto the width of a blind (in millimetres)

Drop Amount Add On: this adds an amount onto the drop of a blind (in millimetres)
